![]() The app to check the queue wait times is invaluable, although we did jump from the top lot to the lower lot a couple times. Parking is extra, I think it was USD 30, which is unfair, it should be in the price of the ticket. But it certainly was nice to walk straight pass the ticket booths and up to the entry gate with our pre purchased ticket. It is supposed to be cheaper, although I don't know how much cheaper it is. This is the first time we purchased tickets online. The corn dogs from Mummy Eats are a hard pass too. We did eat at Toadstools Cafe and we got the Garlic Knots (favorite thing we got), Luigi’s Burger which was our second favorite, Mario Impossible Burger (I didn’t try but my son said it was good), then we also got the lemon drink which I didn’t care for and we got the beanpole cake and tiramisu- both were not good in my opinion. So eat a big breakfast at your hotel before coming over! They felt like they were trying too hard to be something amazing and would have been better if they kept them simple. The food was NOT good quality - at least not the items we tried. I paid extra for Express Passes and certainly did not need them! The most the wait time (other than Mario kart) in standby for any ride yesterday was 15 minutes but most were walk ons! After the park opened at 9 and everyone rushed into the Mario World we went and rode the other rides. We rode it a second time later in the day when it was down to 30 mins. We got to the park at 7am for an 8am Early Admission and we’re the first people to walk through the warp tunnel and enter the park and the first ones through the queue for the ride. I’ll be honest and say that Mario Kart was neat technically but the ride itself was rather slow and boring for us, we just assumed it was have a little speed or at least some spins since it is MARIO KART but it did not. We knew coming here that it wouldn’t compare to Universal Studios Orlando but we came to experience Super Mario World. There should definitely be extra entertainment for the people waiting in line. Wait times were an hour average but ranged from 40 mins to 2.5 hours. I've been to Universal many times and this was crazy, not like the past. We were shoulder to shoulder packed like sardines. The other downside was the massive crowds. There should have been people dressed as minions, trainers carrying baby dinosaurs for us to pet, and a guy dressed as the Mummy scaring us. It would've been smart and a lot more fun if Universal had people dressed in character costumes entertaining us while we all waited. There were tv screens to look at that filtered through material. Things to improve: Waiting in line for most rides was lackluster. As an adult who loves Minions, I still had fun, but wished there was more minion-esque things for adults to do. Minion Mayhem was definitely for little kids and not worth the 45 minute wait as an adult. The Jurassic World ride was wonderful and had lots of dinosaurs in it. The Hogwarts Castle nighttime light show was phenomenal. Harry Potter Forbidden Journey ride was spectacular. *Excluding any Tour Operator within the Virgin family”Īny amendments to attraction tickets after 14 days of booking will incur a £35 amendment fee, please refer to Virgin Atlantic Holidays terms and conditions for further details on amending your booking.Harry Potter world was amazing with lots to do and see, and the Revenge of the Mummy ride was exciting as always.
